Copenhagen

Every bit of Copenhagen is designed for life, from the buildings and architecture, the food and the water, the many bikes and the intelligent infrastructure to free education, free health care, and a society firmly focused on the life balance between work and play.

Because of this, Danes are said to be the happiest people in the world, and Copenhagen is often considered the world’s most livable city

The city is large enough for every kind of life philosophy, but small enough to bicycle from one end to the other in twenty minutes. It is all there, the urban pulse in the cobbled streets, the exciting history, the castles, the artists, the mothers, babies and their strollers, the hipsters and their dreams, the prince and the queen.

We welcome you to explore Copenhagen - a city for life

copenhagen

THE dÀNGLETERRE

This almost 300 year old mansion is located in the very city centre of Copenhagen, just opposite of the Royal Theatre, Nyhavn (New Harbour) with its many cosy cafés and restaurants and the pedestrian street “Strøget”.

The interior of the hotel is tastefully arranged with individuality being the keynote

Not two rooms at the hotel are alike and the broad corridors are reminders of the time when hoop skirted women required ample passageways

Hotel d’Angleterre has on numerous occasions won international prizes for being the best hotel in Denmark; this explains why most international stars choose to stay at this impressive and charming hotel

Food Tour

On this special Food Tour, we will take you on a pleasant walk through the Danish capital that will introduce you to Copenhagen and Denmark through delicious local food.

We will be tasting the famous open sandwiches (perhaps along with some snaps!), organic gourmet hotdogs, high-end chocolate, and locally brewed craft beer

Last but not least, we'll also be conducting a special tasting session at the only fully organic cheese shop in all of Denmark.

A Day In North Zeeland

A snowmobile trip is a highlight of any arctic adventure, and not to be missed.

After a brief introduction to safety and the controls of the snowmobiles, it’s time to set off on your tailor-made excursion into the wild. Through forests and over hills packed with snow, you’ll drive deep into the wilderness where no one else has been. You’ll get the chance to let rip across a frozen lake and experience the speed, the freedom, and the adrenaline rush that can only be had when these thrilling machines roar over the snow.

While a driving licence is needed to operate a snowmobile, children and those without licences get to enjoy being pulled along in a sleigh. Adults and older children can also share a snowmobile with the driver as you ride through the beautiful snowy landscapes

Stockholm

The capital of the Nordics!

On one side it is a modern city with an interesting history, trend- setting restaurants and vibrant nightclubs. Right next to that you have the tranquillity of the idyllic archipelago with open spaces, silence and fantastic nature.

Even if Stockholm is the largest city in the Nordics, with a population of about one million people, it is still relatively small and you can walk to almost everywhere.

Stockholm is built on islands and you are never far away from the water with ferries that can take you further out in to the fantastic archipelago if you like.

Grand Hotel Stockholm

The Grand Hôtel in Stockholm has been home to celebrities, high- profile events and everyday bon-vivants since 1874.

Located right opposite the royal palace and the old town it is the ideal starting point to explore Stockholm

The very first Nobel banquet took place at the Grand Hôtel in 1901. It was held at the hotel until 1929, when the event became too large and was moved to the Stockholm City Hall

For recreation, there’s the Nordic Spa & Fitness club with hot saunas and cool dipping pools.

Stockholm City Tour

Your tour begins with a panoramic drive of the city. A highlight of your day will be a visit to City Hall, beautifully situated by the shores of Lake Mälaren. There are numerous splendid halls, the most famous of these being the Blue Hall, where the Nobel festivities unfold each year, and the Golden Hall, known for its mosaics. Afterwards, drive past the Royal Dramatic Theatre, along Strandvägen to the island of Djurgården, regarded as Stockholm’s amusement and recreation centre with great parks and museums, including the Vasa Museum

Once considered to be one of the world’s largest and most prestigious warships, the Vasa sank in Stockholm’s inner harbor on her maiden voyage in 1628. The Vasa Museum was built around this 17th century warship after it was salvaged in 1961 and restored to its former glory. To round off your tour, head back to the Old Town and your guide will take you on a walk taking in the historic elegance of the Royal Palace and Cathedral (exterior views). Stroll along the narrow, twisting alleys and cobbled streets, featuring baroque doorways and coats of arms.

We invite you to experience Stockholm, a city colored with flavors of Scandinavia

Day of sailing in the archipelago!

Just a few minutes away from the city of Stockholm, the archipelago begins. With nearly 30,000 islands, islets and rocks - from Öregrund in the north to Landsort in the south - each with its own character. Rugged nature blends with wooded islands, rocky cliffs and sandy beaches.

We will anchor the boat in a private bay for a nice lunch and maybe a swim.

As the evening settles we will bring you back to Stockholm by speedboat. Cruising comfortably over the calm waters at around 30 knots through the summer evening is truly an amazing experience.
