Day 3 - Royal Malwane Once again awake to the sounds of the bush and enjoy your early morning game drive to engage with the landscape even more intimately, explore the bush on foot with our expert guides and trackers at your side. Day 4 - Krug er to Cape Town You will be woken for your last early morning game drive, returning to the lodge for breakfast. Please check with your ranger the departure time for your transfer to Hoedspruit Airport. Day 9 - Shark Cage Diving Early Breakfast Meet your guide and transfer to Gansbaai for your Shark Cage Diving (weather permitting) Time to be advised as Shark Cage Diving is dependent on the weather. Please liaise with your guide. Early transfer to White Shark Projects in Kleinbaai. Enjoy a delicious continental breakfast and discuss current sightings, indemnities, wet suitsand equipment before heading off to board the custom built 36 ft, 4 tonne white shark dive catamaran–‘Shark Team’. Meet one of the intrepid skippers, a qualified paramedic, a Dive Master and the friendly crew and enjoy a short talk on shark anatomy and behaviour. You will hear how White Shark Projects works with the sharks in the area and how you will spend the next couple of hours diving and viewing these wondrous predators in their natural habitat. You are fully briefed on all procedures and the action begins as our crew ‘chums’ the cruise area and you wait with bated breath for your initial glimpse of the first shark fin. Sharks are usually wary at first and it is necessary to wait a while for them to settle before lowering the dive cage. The first guests enter the cage (takes 4 –5 people) and spend about 20 minutes face to face with the sharks! Enjoy topside viewing during your wait as shark activity is often close to the surface. In fact Great Whites are also known for their ‘spy hopping’ – breaching right out of the water in pursuit of prey! Topside viewing can yield a lot of those action shots! All necessary diving and safety equipment is provided for you to enjoy your cage diving experience in South Africa in comfort and security. Remember to take suntan lotion, cap and sunglasses, a warm jacket and of course, a swimming suit and towel. If you know you are prone to motion sickness or even if you are unsure if you are, it is advisable to take medication before departing so as not to spoil your adventure! And don’t forget your camera! You will be provided with lunch boxes to enjoy while on the boat. On your return to the harbour enjoy tea and scones, and compare your experiences and photos before returning to your hotel. Day 10 - Sky Diving Breakfast at the hotel. Please liaise with your guide regarding the departure time as the sky diving is dependent on the weather.The drive is about 40 minutes along the West Coast Road, North of Cape Town. Youwill enjoy a sky dive .On the way up in the aircraft, the view is breath-taking. To the South, the Mother City lies sandwiched between towering Table Mountain and bustling Table Bay harbour. Further to the south, and to the far side of the mountain, lies False Bay, Hout Bay and the splendour of the South Peninsula as far as Cape Point.To the West, you will spot Robben Island -Cape Town's own Alcatraz -and the Atlantic breaking on the beautiful Cape West Coast, as famous for its icy water temperature as its mouth-wateringcrayfish. To the North, the Langebaan lagoon, a great kitesurfing and windsurfing venue.Experience the thrill of freefall without the effort of learning all the theory. On a tandem jump, you are strapped to a Tandem Instructor with a special harness that’s attached to a specially designed parachute large enough to support both of you.After only 15 minutes of ground briefing you will enjoy a spectacular 20 minute aircraft ride. Then it's action time! Out the door for a 120mph/200kph freefall, falling about 25-30 seconds from 9,000ft or for about 35-40 seconds from 11,000ft. The Tandem Instructor opens the parachute at about 5000ft, and a peaceful 3-4 minute parachute ride to the ground follows.
