Whenever we travel abroad or somewhere in your native place, you always have one common craving for food just like everyone in the world. The dishes I find along the way are only one of many benefits. If you are foodie or love to taste different kind of foods or taste in a differ place the same dish, then you are in the right place, as abroad has it all, it has got variety of dishes that I personally tried in every country and have my few desired.
Europe is known for its wide variety of sea foods and appetizers. Some of these have become famous street foods while others are served at hotels or restaurants. And they all are rival to the well-known ones.
There are many small cities or places abroad but the size with its food options are always numerous. From Doughnuts to Chocolate pudding, overseas has it all. You will always have the option to choose and pick your favorite; they narrowed it down for you.
I will start with few of my much loved dishes along with handful of culinary experience I had with in every continent. And have discovered these dishes which I have already narrowed it down to few including where you can find them and the best place to taste each one.
This is the main course which you will find in the Europe across Belgium. You will find them in the supermarket and service stations as well. It is best served with salad and gives authentic smell and taste. It has got its own taste and rich in proteins. It is stuffed with mussels and French fries and this is everyone’s favorite as well and has got different versions. I tried the bits of cheese melted into the sauce. It is also served with cream, crunchy saffron, juicy cider and mussels with curry. Above all, it is easily cooked at home. Need selected few ingredients to cook. It is mostly served with fries that make it crispier and tastier.
Pork Chops with Roast Potatoes
This is the perfect Greek Pork Chops which is the first and the last dish it tried in there. It is definitely every travelers selected dish to order. It’s golden and crusty on the outside and perfectly tender and succulent on the inside makes it wanting to eat more. This is my favorite Greek brizola. Brizola is Greek Pork Chops. The secret I got to know behind this pork chops recipe is the marinade. These chops are inundated in a Greek style drench of olive oil, red wine vinegar, red onions, garlic, black pepper and generous pouring of dried Greek oregano. Scorched on a hot pan to get golden and caramelized and then baked in oven, roofed and preserved with parchment paper. It is baked along with garlic lemon potatoes in white wine. This Greek pork chops recipe is best served with tzatziki, along with toasted pita bread and Greek feta salad for an absolute munificent Greek style meal. And it is truly mouth watering.
Peanut Butter Candy
It’s a sweet treat that is quickly served. What all I can say other than yum! It was sweeter than sugar. The shocking is it was made without sugar and the use of natural sugar. There is just use of coconut milk and peanut. As peanut is the most important ingredient in Africa. You can find this in every street and restaurants but yes they may vary with taste as some are made from coconut milk and few are made with caramels or chocolates or cream or marshmallows or sometimes simple cheesy butter.
It was simply kept classy and I had with a glass of cool wine, glazed bread as a side to balance it with a sweet dish. Do taste it and feel the sweetness of the candy.
Marinated Greek Lamb Souvlaki
It is perfectly moist and crispy luscious lamb souvlaki spears found only in Greek. Get the fire started in the beach with your friends as this is the exact barbecue time this holiday with miraculous Greek lamb souvlaki. Souvlaki is one of the most popular street foods in Greece and for good reason as well. Thirst quenching and well weathered meat beautified with cooling tzatziki sauce, wrapped in a appetizing crispy and downy bread pita. Well, one couldn’t ask for more as this serves one full meal for a day and yes you will definitely ask for more. Even though I just love the traditional Greek chicken and pork souvlaki, I may think that there is nothing better than the aroma and lusciousness of a charcoal barbecued lamb souvlaki. It is affordable as well as compared to other dishes where you will be wanting for more also spending extra penny on dishes which you may not like as well. It is as much as cheaper alternative.
Red Lobster Parrot Bay Coconut Shrimp
The lst but not the least is the sea food which I tried in Japan few months back. It was difficult for me to pick just one dish as the cost was so high that I had to choose little cheaper dish but that made me to choose the best one amongst all. As there is always one saying “less is more”. Less the cost, tastier the dish is. Red Lobster makes delicious coconut shrimp with Parrot Bay. The best part I found is Pina Colada dipping sauce, that sauce is so tasty that you could eat it alone with a spoon. Parrots Bay sweetens up the batter as well as adding a great coconut flavor.
I encourage you to take your time and savor every bite and share it with a good company. Each dish is not less than a spectacular and each bite is better than the one before.
