Welgrow began in 1997 in a basement office in New Delhi, with a young daughter at home and one conviction: that a journey should be planned the way her father planned theirs, by hand, and around the people taking it.
Almost three decades on, the house has grown to a team of more than thirty, but the method has not changed. Every journey still starts with a conversation, and every recommendation still comes from someone who has been there, or knows the person who runs it.
Welgrow has never been built on volume. It has been built on relationships: with travellers who return year after year, with hoteliers and guides across the world, and with the people who make a journey feel like it was made for you.
In 2005 the house expanded into hospitality. Today a new generation has joined it.

For almost three decades, Radhika has built Welgrow around something no booking engine can offer: personal knowledge. The right suite in Paris, the right guide in Kyoto, the right pace for a family with grandparents and toddlers in the same car. Her approach has always been the same. Understand the traveller first, then design the journey around them.
