Glimpses of Europe |
Sprawling from the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, Europe is generally divided from Asia to its east by the water divide of the Ural Mountains, the Ural River, the Caspian Sea, and by the Caucasus Mountains to the southeast. Europe is washed upon to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the Black Sea and the waterways connecting it to the Mediterranean.
In this spectacular landmass thrives a plethora of lustful, rich and enticing cultures, sometimes at odds with one another, but still surviving the sands of time. The lands of Europe have been blessed with rich history with everything from Vikings to Romans to Alexander the Great walking these lands.. Enjoy the serene scenic beauty of the Ural, or drink from the Thames, or have a toast of French wine; the European experience is just too good to resist.
